Your experience begins around Senaru, one of the important gateways to Mount Rinjani.

After a short briefing, we follow a forest trail through lush tropical vegetation toward Sendang Gile Waterfall. Take your time here. Listen to the water, feel the cool forest air, and enjoy the landscape.

Then we continue deeper into the forest toward Tiu Kelep, where the surroundings become even more immersive. Depending on the season and weather, parts of the trail may be wet or slippery.

This is where your shoes may begin negotiating seriously with gravity.

At Tiu Kelep, enjoy the dramatic combination of cascading water, cliffs, rainforest, and mountain atmosphere. Swimming or entering the water should only be considered when conditions are safe and local guidance permits it.

On the return journey, the forest may look completely different. Light changes, sounds change, and suddenly you notice details you missed on the way in.

Sometimes the forest tells you more than the guide does.

This is a soft adventure, not a technical mountain trek—but it is also not a stroll through a shopping mall.

Expect forest paths, steps, uneven ground, roots, rocks, slopes, and potentially muddy or slippery sections.

Comfortable shoes with good grip are strongly recommended.

Morning departures are usually preferred for cooler walking conditions and a more comfortable forest experience. Departure times can be arranged around your accommodation and itinerary.

Safety & Nature

Mount Rinjani has its own personality. Sunshine can become rain, dry paths can become slippery, and waterfall conditions can change quickly.

Your guide will monitor local conditions and may adjust the route when necessary.

Bring drinking water, sun protection, a rain jacket, comfortable walking shoes, and a small waterproof bag. Stay on appropriate paths, avoid unstable rocks and waterfall edges, and follow your guide's instructions.

Price

From IDR 450,000 per person, with the final price depending on group size, private or shared guiding, transportation, entrance or local fees, and selected arrangements.

Private guiding is recommended if you prefer a flexible pace, more time for photography, and deeper conversation with your guide.
